Sarah Marshman

These are a few shots I did yesterday with Sarah. Sarah is probably one of my favourite people to photograph purely because she has such an amazing character in front of the camera. Fortunately I was able to capture her in a more serious mood to compliment my portfolio.

Rise Against

I was not able to obtain a media pass for the Rise Against show on Saturday night so I decided to just go and spectate instead. There was one particular moment I did want to photograph so pulled out my iphone and took a snap. I usually don't do this so don't judge the crappy quality!

Erin Parsons

Erin Parsons is a extremely busy girl who found time to hangout with me for an hour and get some photographs done. I think credit is also due as she was wearing high heels with a broken foot.

My friends at DropBears released their ep at HQ today in Leederville. my pal Hayden Taylor introduced me to Joel Dalton a few months back when I brought up the idea of photographing his band. it had been a few months since dropbears played their last show so was keen to see what the hype was about. i'm happy to rock a headache after todays show.

Caitlin McLeod

Spent this unusual sunny wednesday with my friend Caitlin McLeod and some photographers who arranged to meet up and take snaps around the city. Caitlin is by far the hardest person to photograph. not because she is not 'photogenic' but because every photograph I attempt to take results in her pulling some sort of awkward face. out of about 120 photos only 10 or so can be used. I could upload a whole photo reel of funny faces she pulls, but she might just lose the plot if I did that. Caitlin doesn't usually like her photo being taken. this is in fact the first photograph she has ever let me taken of her (the one below of course is clearly not welcomed). she is probably going to shit bananas when she reads this post too.

A Blank Canvas

I must apologise for having this out a tad late. A Blank Canvas is a photography publication which is viewable online that features my favourite photographs that I have taken in the last 3 months. this was originally suppose to be due late June but because of other things happening shit just didn't get done. well here it is.

Aleisha Fonte De Vos

Georgia recommended that I should photograph a girl she went to school with. this girl being photographed below is Aleisha Fonte De Vos. now there are a few things I should mention about her; she likes 'regular' cheese be that if it is swiss, blue or cheddar. she believes that the human body is wielded with too many fingers and that she hadn't touched greens or salads since she was a baby. anyway this is Aleisha, my new friend.

Max Lombard

I sent an email to a guy a couple of weeks ago in regards to one of his drawings that I found extremely interesting. I was wanting to use one of his drawings as my header for this blog (as pictured above). when he checked out this page he admired a lot of my work and said he'd be keen to do some ink drawings of some of my photographs. he was kind enough to let me post them. check out his page here.

A friend of mines friend is opening an store for street brands. the store is located exactly opposite Captain of the Ship in the arcade replacing half of what that cafe use to be. GFTED stands for Guns For Toys Earnest Designs, they produce street wear that projects chivalry, social consciences, culture and the fact that it is ok to be a nerd. you can check out Gfteds store over at the website here.
