Justin Ward approached me a week ago to shoot some photographs for Soggy Bones debut Photo Annual which is due to drop in December. The brief required me to photograph some girls looking cheeky and beautiful in an artistic and vintage manner suitable for a surf skate magazine. I agreed and then contacted two models, one of which is Kimberley, who is featured below. That is me using a Holga in the last picture, I will get to posting the pictures when the 120 film is processed.

Alex Shelnutt

I don't often come across old images and re-upload them onto this blog. However I still feel the need to show you some people I have met through my photography. Below is A Day To Remembers drummer, Alex Shelnutt, Who I was fortunate to meet back in April. I have about 3 band promo's to shoot this week so expect a bit more posts as well as a couple of ladies SoggyBones surf skate magazine has gotten me to photograph.

A few weeks ago I photographed Further Earth. Ryan Carson who is the lead vocals has been sending me emails back and forth about discussing a couple of promo shoots we want to put together in the next week or so. Today we were finally able to sit down and talk about it. Here is Ryan wanting a picture for the ladies.

Naomi Craigs Part 2

Following on with yesterdays post here are some more photographs from the shoot. I was too fatigued to deliver any more prints yesterday but here are some I managed to find time to work on today.

After joining Naomi on her photoshoot a few days ago I insisted on having to photograph her. We decided on some clothes, makeup and fremantle as the location. Had a really good day with this one. More photos to come.

A few months back I stumbled upon Naomi through a friend who suggested I should photograph her. I had soon learnt she was a photographer too and when I flicked through her photographs I was pretty amazed to say the least. Yesterday she was kind enough to let me assist her in a photo shoot (post below this). Naomi is down to earth, vibrant, friendly, cute and extremely modest.

Joel Portman

Yesterday I was onboard a photo shoot with my friend Naomi. I will save you the whole story for the post above but pretty much Naomi is a new friend and a quite talented photographer. She was in need of an assistant and I volunteered. I couldn't quite help but admire the way she composed her subject Joel so I just pulled out my camera and started shooting.

This is a photograph I had thrown away into my card dumps folder. I had originally planned to use it but decided against it for unknown reasons. This is Aleisha Fonte De Vos.

Further Earth

Ryan Carson from Further Earth invited me down a few weeks back to photograph his band opening up for FloatingMe. This was an enjoyable show to photograph but it had it's restrictions. Lighting in this set is some of darkest I have ever experienced, and without the aid of my flash the photographs tend to come out pretty noisey. However I am quite happy with the grainy result. In the next few weeks I will be sitting down with Carson to discuss ideas for their upcoming promotional shoot.
